The Project SAILS testing session runs from June 15 through May 31 or each year. All testing must be completed before June 1. Any test still running on June 1 will be automatically stopped by the SAILS system.
There are two system maintenance periods: Summer: June 1 through June 14 and Winter: December 24 through January 1. During these periods no tests can be started or stopped. Students can continue to take any test that is running during the Winter period.
Important Dates
| June 15 | The beginning of the SAILS testing session. Tests may be started beginning on this date. |
| December 24 | The beginning of the Winter maintenance period. Testing may continue. No tests can be started or stopped. |
| January 2 | End of the Winter maintenance period. Tests may be started and stopped. |
| May 31 | The end of the SAILS testing session. All testing must be completed by the end of the day. |
| June 1 | The beginning of the Summer maintenance period. All running tests are automatically stopped. |
